Tamarix gallica
Red flowered multi branch tamarisk, Tamarix gallica, is a plant of the genus Tamarix in the family Tamaricaceae. The tree species introduced from the United States by the Beijing Shuimu Zhongtian Institute of Plant Science in 1998. The willow branches are slender and soft, with a graceful posture and leaves that grow alternately. The raceme inflorescence gathers at the top of the branches in the same year to form a cone-shaped inflorescence, and blooms in summer and autumn, which is quite beautiful.
